Amero Little Christmas is a fresh new take on the classic Christmas variety show. It celebrates the holidays with a combination of original songs and Don’s take on familiar and traditional favourites. Touring Alberta and Manitoba this holiday season, Don hopes to encourage those who attend his concerts to pause, reflect, and spend quality time with the people they love. Although surrounded by poverty, gangs, drugs, and violence, his life was also tempered by love and support which enabled him to thrive and find his passion in music. When Don was 14 years old he discovered that he had a gift for singing and performing. Around that same time his personal life was in turmoil. He found solace in learning to play music on his father’s old guitar. That music resonated with the longing in his soul and the inner pain he felt; it became his therapy. Over the years Don’s passion grew, and he started to focus on creating music that he hoped could also be medicine for others.
At 27 years old Don decided to give music his best shot - full time. He quit his day job, and began his journey into a career in the music industry. Don’s tireless work ethic, ambition, and determination, has earned the respect of fellow artists and audiences alike. His powerful vocals, a lovable stage presence, and soulful sound have made him a sought after performer who genuinely connects with his audience with ease and charm. A true musical talent without the rock-star attitude, Don’s messages of encouragement, positivity, and beauty - and his desire to get out and chat with everyone - impresses fans wherever he goes.
